Further details have emerged of the police chase which ended with the death of a 28-year-old woman.
The Independent Office of Police Conduct (IOPC) has been investigating the actions of Norfolk and Suffolk Constabularies after the fatal crash on August 13.
A Land Rover Defender and a Nissan Juke were involved in a collision on the A143 near the Old Harleston Road junction close to Earsham.
Aisatou Mballow-Baldeu, who was travelling in the Nissan Juke, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The IOPC has now released details of the pursuit prior to the crash.
Police officers were following the occupants of the Land Rover, which had been reported as stolen in Suffolk.
The vehicle travelled from Suffolk into Norfolk and was monitored overhead by the National Police Air Service (NPAS).
An unmarked police vehicle was following behind the Land Rover on the A143 road, with marked police vehicles some distance behind.
The IOPC says that the vehicle went onto a side road and police officers attempted to stop it.
Officials say the Land Rover then entered a maize field where it was initially pursued by officers.
Aerial footage from NPAS shows that the Land Rover then re-entered the A143 and collided with the Nissan Juke, which was travelling in the opposite direction, approximately 30 seconds later.
The IOPC confirmed that its investigation began the same evening of the crash.
The two men inside the Land Rover were arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing dangerous driving and taken to Great Yarmouth police investigation centre for questioning after being treated in hospital for their injuries.
Marcin Jablonski, 43, of Mutfordwood Lane, Carlton Colville, near Lowestoft, was later charged with causing death by dangerous driving, causing death while driving with no insurance, causing death while driving disqualified, aggravated vehicle taking and criminal damage.
Thomaz Urbaniak, 26, of All Saints Road, Newmarket, was charged with aggravated vehicle taking.
They appeared at Norwich Magistrates’ Court on August 17 and the case was formally sent to Norwich Crown Court on September 14.
