One man is pushing himself that bit harder in the gym this week - after he demolished an eating challenge.
Francesco Angelini, from Stansted Mountfitchet, in Essex, took on the Platinum Platter at Russell's Diner in Fakenham on August 19.
The challenge gives people 30 minutes to eat four sausages, four bacon rashers, four black puddings, four pieces of fried toast and another four pieces of regular toast, four fried eggs, four tomatoes, mushrooms, chips, and beans - a breakfast challenge not for the faint-hearted. It cost £25, or is free of charge if you finish it.
The 42-year-old, who described himself as an active person, left staff stunned after he presented a clean plate with eight minutes to spare.
“Taste goes out the window,” he said.
“It is nice to enjoy a meal, but with this sort of challenge, that goes out the window and you just focus on eating the food as quickly as possible.
“My method was to focus on the protein, then the chips, then the toast, making sure I have plenty of napkins and water nearby to help me through the challenge.

“It felt like a fantastic accomplishment, a family next to me and my friend were completely gobsmacked as they watched me.”
Mr Angelini, who works in banking, had only taken part in one other food challenge before this one, a barbecue platter at Smoke BBQ Kitchen in St Bishop's Stortford.
He was in Holt for a weekend away, saw the challenge online, and decided to go for it.

He said he believed he was the first person to ever complete this challenge.
And even more amazingly, Mr Angelini went on to Feast in the Park at Holkham that day, where he proceeded to eat “a few snacks.”
He said he was now going to put the extra calories to good use by attempting some "personal bests" at the gym.
