It is a place which offered Norfolk's England superstar Lauren Hemp a chance to dream.
Today crowds have flocked to North Walsham Football Club, the place where it all started for Hemp, to watch their hero play in the World Cup final.
The Lionesses take on Spain in Sydney's Stadium Australia for a chance to win the game's biggest prize, with Hemp and the Lionesses keen to build on the European success from last summer.
Coach of the North Walsham girls, a club committee member, whose two daughters play in the Norwich City Girls academy, Danny Rebbeck, is "so proud" to see Hemp in the final and describes her as a "hero".
He said: “Mate, it’s crazy to know she has come from this club, she is an absolute local hero and we are all so proud.
"Hemp has proven to everybody locally that you can achieve your dreams.
“I would all love her to score.
"My prediction is a 2-1 England win and Hemp to score first.
“The young girls in the club just look up to her so much and all aspire to be like her, we are all excited.
"Now the publicity the women are getting it’s amazing. Women’s football is in an amazing place."
