Sixth form students at Sir John Leman High School in Beccles celebrated as they collected their A-level results today.

Headteacher, Ruth Gurney, said she was incredibly proud of her students.

She said: “We are very proud of our Year 13 students who received their results today.

"These students did not sit GCSE exams because of Covid-19, so these are their first external examinations since Year Six.

"Despite this, and the return to 2019 grade boundaries, they improved on last year's results.
"We are particularly pleased with the number of students who achieved top grades.

"Throughout their time in Sixth Form, our students have shown great resilience and worked hard, which will benefit them as they progress to the next stage of their careers or education.
