A popular pizza joint and music venue in Norwich announced it will reopen next month, after closing earlier in the summer.
Voodoo Daddy’s Showroom, on Timberhill, closed on July 1 to, it said, “get some things done behind the curtain”.
But owners have now revealed that the bar, which is owned by the team behind Gonzo’s Tea Room, will reopen on September 15, with a host of bands billed to play at the venue in the following months.
Writing on the bar’s Facebook page, owners said: “From the 15 September we’ll be throwing those wooden doors open and welcoming you back for some very tasty shows.
"For now, we’re back at the usual spot, and you can expect the same feel good vibe, tasty bevs and free guitar hero!”
It comes two months after Gonzo's Tea Room applied for a license to allow it to move Voodoo Daddy’s, along with its pizza kitchen and live music space, into the ground floor of its London Street venue.
Capacity for the area will be determined by Norfolk Fire & Rescue Service once building and redevelopment work has been completed.
