Three children have been rescued from a remote island off the north Norfolk coast after going missing while on the beach.
A lifeboat was launched after the children were reported missing on Scolt Head Island, off the coast between Brancaster and Wells.
The crews left the boathouse at 4.30pm on Tuesday (August 15), heading out of the harbour to find the youngsters while the tide was coming in.

They landed two crew members on the island to start searching for the missing children, while the lifeboat entered the winding creeks in the area to carry out a search from the water.
The children were eventually found safe and well.
Following the dramatic incident, RNLI Wells has reinforced the importance of beach-goers paying attention to weather and tide times.
Lifeboat operations manager, Chris Hardy, said it is imperative to "use a lifeguarded beach" and that use of inflatables is always a risk when children are unsupervised near the coast.
