A mortgage advisor from Costessey swaps properties for prosecco in her spare time with her newly-launched mobile bar.

Gemma Thompson, 40, has been a successful mortgage advisor for more than 15 years and had originally been looking for a mobile bar for her garden for King Charles III's Coronation.

She then had the idea to convert a horse trailer into her own fully operational bar, which she sourced from Facebook Marketplace and converted with her friends.

She was so pleased with the results that she decided to launch it as a business called GG's, which is available for various events.

The transformation, including all necessary licenses and insurance, has cost less than £5,000.

GG’s can be tailored to the needs of each event, including a prosecco or gin bar.

She said: "Running GG’s bar is so much fun and I love the variety that both my businesses give me.

"It is a case of mortgage advisor by day and mobile bar owner by night."
