An inquest has been opened into the death of a Norwich chef who was found dead in a city woodland area.
Mariusz Karas, who lived in Drayton Road, Mile Cross, died last week, on August 7.
Mr Karas, who was 34, was found dead in a wooded area off Gurney Road in the city, near Mousehold Heath.
During a short hearing held in Norfolk Coroners' Court, senior coroner for Norfolk Jacqueline Lake confirmed that Mr Karas was born in Poland and worked as a chef.
Mrs Lake adjourned the hearing until a full inquest, which will be held on January 25 next year.
