A 32-year-old has been jailed after running at a man with two knives while threatening to kill him.

Billy Parlour, from York Way in Thetford, was seen fighting with another man at around 2pm on May 6.

Parlour ran at the victim with a knife in each hand while threatening to kill him during the incident in Saffron Close in Littleport.

He shouted at the victim when he attempted to reason with him and threatened to break his nose.

On August 9, Parlour was jailed for a year and one month having pleaded guilty to two counts of threatening a person with a blade in a public place.

He also pleaded guilty to a count of theft after stealing beer from the Co-op in Littleport on April 13.

DC Lauren Clarke of Cambridgeshire Police said: “Tackling knife crime is a force priority so we will always seek to bring people who threaten people with knives to justice.

“Parlour’s behaviour that day was appalling and dangerous so I am pleased he has faced justice.”
