Plans for four new homes in a rural village look set to be turned down.
A developer named in council papers as Mrs P McCarter applied to develop land to the east of 114 Main Road at Parson Drove, near Wisbech.
But Fenland councillors have been recommended to refuse the proposals when they meet on August 23.
A planning report says each of the four plots would be accessed via a private road which runs along the site.

It adds: "The proposed development would be constructed to the rear of an existing frontage development and accessed by a long vehicular access to the west of the site.
"The development would represent a tandem or backland form of development which would conflict with and undermine the prevailing form of linear frontage development along Main Road."
The report says the village has a "distinctive linear character".
It adds waste would have to be moved along an unadopted road to be collected from the public highway.
Parson Drove Parish Council recommended approval.
