The chief executive of Norfolk's only outstanding NHS trust has announced he is stepping down.

Stephen Collman, CEO of the Norfolk Community Health and Care NHS Trust, is leaving at the end of the year to take on a role at another NHS trust.

Mr Collman, who also sits on the Norfolk and Waveney integrated care board, will become managing director of Worcestershire Acute Hosptials NHS Trust next year.

His departure comes less than two years after entering the role, having joined the community trust on January 4, 2022.

Mr Collman said: "NCH&C is an incredible organisation and I have been immensely proud to work as its CEO.

"I have been so fortunate to work with and get to know so many skilled and dedicated staff at all levels."

Lynda Thomas, NCH&C chairman, said: "Stephen has provided authentic and ambitious leadership over the past two years.

"On behalf of the NCH&C board, I would like to thank Stephen for all his hard work and success and wish him well in his new role."
