A popular city artist has swapped van doors for art décor after having his life's work on display for the first time.

Called "The Hairy Artists' Exhibition" Ruddy Muddy, whose real name is Ricky Minns, has his distinctive art style up at the Harrods of Hingham gallery - including a joint project with screwdriver artist, Johno Cornish.

The muddy artist, best known for his tribute pieces on the back of his white van, has a mixture of his mud-work transfers and oil paintings on display until August 31.

"I wanted to have an exhibition here when it first opened but Covid got in the way, so to get it finally organised and up is really nice.

"I've got a wall of 'muddy' art which is mainly my tributes and a couple more boards with my paintings on.

"There's also a collaboration with Johno combining our skillsets."

Ruddy has more plans to show off his skill in the future, adding: "I'm hoping to do some demos in there - getting a few van doors up and creating some live pieces.
