Two Norwich City legends are set to play in a charity match in Norfolk this week.

Grant Holt and Wes Hoolahan will line up in a Wroxham team taking on the RAF this Wednesday night (August 16) – raising money for two charities supported by the Yachtsmen.

Three-time Norwich City player of the season Holt, who scored 78 goals for the Canaries between 2009 and 2013, is the only City player to score a hat-trick against Ipswich Town in a 4-1 win at Carrow Road in 2010 – with city’s other goal that day being scored by Hoolahan.

Last week, Holt walked 46-mile (74km) from Ipswich to The Nook hospice in Framingham Earl to raise money for East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) – which took the former City striker and captain 21 hours to accomplish.

Holt and Hoolahan will now combine once again to raise funds for Scotty’s Little Soldiers – a charity supporting bereaved military children – and Cardiomyopathy – which helps those affected by heart disease.
