An 18th-century pub that was restored to its former glory after a huge refurbishment is putting a Norfolk village on the map for food.
The Burton family purchased The Kings Head Inn in Brooke, near Loddon, in February 2020 and it had been shut since March 2019.
After a painstaking three-year refurbishment, it opened to punters in May 2023 and it also boasts six bedrooms in an extension at the rear of the building.
Couple Jessica and Harry Burton, aged 26 and 29 respectively, have been tasked with the day-to-day management of the pub.

Mr Burton's parents Peter and Karen own a farm in nearby Flixton and provide all the fruit and vegetables from their cottage garden and eggs from their ducks are used in desserts.
The family farm will also soon supply the pub with beef, pork and lamb.
Jessica Burton said: "We are a gastropub and offer a farm-to-fork concept in our dining room, but we also have a bar area for people that just want a drink.

"We have a menu based on what is in season, which reduces our carbon footprint.
"The kitchen team writes a list of what they need each day and Karen and Peter pick it fresh in the morning - our head chef Dan Lawrence and pastry chef Courtney Watson are incredible.
"Our Sunday roasts are also very popular and we are getting booked up weeks in advance."

The sustainability extends to the decor, with fallen trees from the farm used to create the bar, pub chairs and the headboards in the bedrooms.
Mrs Burton added: "We have had lots of community support and locals are delighted to have their hub back in the village."
The pub is open for drinks from 12noon Wednesday to Sunday and food is served from 12noon-2.15pm and 6.30pm-8.45pm Wednesday to Saturday and 12noon-2.45pm on Sundays.
