A Norfolk law firm has created more than 50 jobs in the last two years, as demand soars for legal services following the pandemic.

Howes Percival, which has an office in Norwich, said it had seen “unprecedented growth” across all areas of its business, completing more than 150 corporate deals with a combined value of £700m in 2022.

It said it had seen the biggest increase in demand for its litigation and commercial property services.

Natalie Clarke, from Howes Percival, said: “Part of the plan is definitely to attract talented juniors who are looking for somewhere they can grow and continue their careers, while strengthening our existing teams.

"We are also building our non-fee earner teams so that we can support our people and constantly deliver the best possible service for clients.

“While we have remained extremely busy, and we hope there are signs that the market is looking brighter, we do see the next year as an opportunity to attract top talent."

In the coming two years, the firm said it plans to create more than 50 additional roles, with new positions across the firm's six offices, including partners, solicitors, and support roles.

Howes Percival, which has six offices across the UK, has not confirmed how many of the new roles will be based in Norwich.
