Suffolk police are now treating a 100-ton straw bale fire as arson after receiving reports of a group of males running away from the blaze.
Fire crews were first alerted to the incident at 7pm on Saturday, July 29.
An eight-tier stack of straw was ablaze on Broadside Farm on Lowestoft Road, Reydon.
At its height, four engines attended the part of the farm close to the car park area at Southwold pier.
The fire was left to burn itself out, with fire crews monitoring the blaze until it self-extinguished the next morning.
