A Norfolk gastropub has been named among the best places to stay in the UK.
The Times named Sculthorpe Mill, near Fakenham, as one of the top places to stay by the water in the country.
The bar and restaurant sits next to the River Wensum, where its "gentle and relaxed" atmosphere can be enjoyed while reclining in deckchairs - with the occasional DJ appearance creating a lively atmosphere.
Its countryside location means there are plenty of peaceful walks to enjoy, including a visit to Sculthorpe Moor nature reserve where you can spot hawks and owls.
Author Sarah Turner described the food as high-quality but with "very little fuss".
Bedrooms available are decked out with vintage furniture and on-trend bathrooms with a 1970s-inspired inspiration.

The restaurant, at the former watermill site, was also named one of the best gastropubs in the UK earlier this year.
Sculthorpe Mill was ranked at number 51 in the coveted Estrella Damm list of the top 100 gastropubs in the UK for 2023.
