A former courthouse has been transformed into three "luxury" apartments in the centre of a north Norfolk town.

Shirehall Apartments are located opposite Byfords in Holt and one even includes a hot tub.

The Shirehall dates back to the 1700s having previously been a bank, market, and courthouse.

Original materials have been repurposed in the apartments, with old floorboards now serving as wooden drawers and old courtroom docks framing walls.

The Make Holt shop has sat on the ground floor of the building since 2021 and celebrates local handmade work with a selection of lifestyle products on sale.

Aviva Leigh, the owner of Make Holt who designed the interiors of the apartments, said: “Imagine staying in a place where all the decorative objects are available to commission or buy to take home with you; the mug you drink your coffee from, that print above the bed, even the light fittings over the dining table.”
