An award-winning Norfolk pub has been voted the most picturesque watering hole in the UK.
The Gunton Arms in north Norfolk has been crowned the nation's prettiest country pub for its interior "full of lovely dark wood and earthy decor" and art pieces by Damien Hirst and Lucian Freud.
The 18th-century building is hidden in a 1,000-acre deer park and the vast fields surrounding it provide a sense of tranquility.
It has also cemented itself as a foodie destination and earlier this year Big 7 Travel named it among the top 50 gastropubs in the UK.
Chef Stuart Tattersall cooks using local ingredients and seasonal produce, with venison from the deer park and beef sourced from a local herd at Blickling.
To find out which pubs are the most aesthetically pleasing in the UK, country house experts Big House Experience analysed Instagram hashtag data over the past two years.
