A pensioner is accused of threatening to cut up the clothes of her partner and punching, kicking and spitting in his face during a frenzied attack.
Elisabeth Coleman, 68, of Crabtree Close in Watton, pleaded not guilty at Norwich Magistrates Court to assault and occasioning actual bodily harm on January 3 this year.
Kieran Dunphy, mitigating, said she disputed the account of the victim.
Magistrates set a date for her trial on March 24 next year.
