More than 30 teams from across the eastern region and beyond competed in the Norwich Soca Seniors Walking Football Charity Tournament at the FDC in Norwich.
The event saw some 300 players competing in three age groups, the over 50s, 60s and 70s.
The over 50s final was a superb game with an excellent Soca Seniors edging a very good Norwich CSF 1-0.
The 60s was contested by the same two clubs but with a twist with Soca Seniors represented by their over 70 squad. The game went to penalties with Norwich CSF winning in sudden death.
The 70s was another final going to penalties with an excellent Gibraltar edging a very good Erpingham.
This year the club was raising funds for Ambers Army and Nelson’s Journey and the final total to be shared is between £4000 and £4500.
The referees commented on the wonderful spirit that all the games were played in.
