Norfolk has an abundance of natural beauty, history and must-see attractions.
From picturesque landscapes to stately homes, be sure to check out these nine bucket list experiences.
1. The Norfolk Broads
A haven for wildlife spotters and boating enthusiasts.
Visitors can rent a boat to tour the scenic waterways, surrounded by lush green landscapes and abundant wildlife.
2. Sandringham
The Sandringham Estate is a private residence of the royal family.
However, its gardens are well worth a visit to soak up the peaceful atmosphere there.
There is also a museum displaying royal artefacts if you need a break after strolling through its sprawling woodlands.
3. Norwich Market
A must-visit for foodies and people looking to grab a bargain - towards the back you'll find vintage clothes and music stalls.
From Chilean street food to fish and chips, there is a huge variety of treats to be sampled here.
It's also a great place to bask in the city's atmosphere, at one of the longest-running markets in the UK.
4. Holkham Beach and Holkham Hall
There's a reason why Holkham Beach was included in The Times' list of the top 50 in the UK.
Its enormous stretches of clear sand set behind rolling dunes and trees make it one of Norfolk's bucket list activities.
If you've got time be sure to check out Holkham Hall - an impressive 18th-century country house.
5. Wells-next-the-Sea
A picturesque coastal town with colourful beach huts, a bustling quay and stunning views of the salt marshes.
Enjoy a leisurely walk along the beach, savour some fresh seafood and indulge in some retail therapy at charming independent shops.
6. North Norfolk Railway
Take a nostalgic journey through the beautiful Norfolk countryside.
Reader Ron Lovick said: "You must visit the North Norfolk Railway - go from Sheringham to Holt and stop off at Weybourne Station."
7. Stately Homes
Visit Felbrigg Hall, Blickling Estate and Houghton Hall to engage with the buildings' history, jaw-dropping gardens and antique art collections.
One of Norfolk's numerous homes has been put on the market for £25m after being refurbished - with its opulent interior sure to attract prospective buyers.
8. Crabbing at Cromer
It may be becoming one of Norfolk's coolest towns, but the more traditional activity of crabbing draws in tourists across the country.
All that's needed is a bucket, line and some bait, and then join the locals while people try to catch the crabs from Cromer Pier.
Afterwards, treat yourself to a drink at the Red Lion, one of Norfolk's best pubs.
9. See the seals at Horsey
An unmissable wildlife experience can be found at Horsey Beach during the seal pupping season from November to January.
Witness hundreds of adorable seal pups basking on the shore and swimming in the shallow waters.
Remember to maintain a safe distance to protect these magnificent creatures.
