Can you give a home to this "full of beans" pooch who was found walking the streets?

"Handsome" lurcher cross Dawson came to PACT via a dog warden as an unclaimed stray.

It is not known how old Dawson is but a vet has estimated him to be between two and three years old.

A spokeswoman for PACT said: "Dawson is very affectionate and gives great hugs. He is a pretty calm dog with moments of craziness.

"He is full of beans and loves to play.

"He happily goes for social lead walks with some of our other dogs, but as he was a stray he cannot live with them as we are unsure of how he would react."

Dawson will need a home where he is the only pet and with children no younger than eight years.

Dawson has a heart murmur but it is not affecting him at the moment and the sanctuary hopes this will stay this way.

He is on medication which he takes well and will be financially covered by PACT as well as any ongoing care related to his heart.
