A man has been taken to hospital after suffering cuts to his face and shoulders during a fight in Great Yarmouth.
Officers were called to a bus stand at Market Gates at 7pm on Sunday, July 2, following reports of a fight between two men.
During the altercation, one of the men was threatened with a pair of scissors and suffered cuts to his face and shoulder.
He was taken to the James Paget Hospital for medical treatment and has since been discharged.
A 29-year-old man was arrested in the town shortly after the fight and was taken to Great Yarmouth police station for questioning.
Keiran Liffen, age 29, of Hall Plain, Great Yarmouth, was subsequently been charged with threatening a person with an offensive weapon and assault (GBH).
He appeared at Norwich Magistrates’ Court on July 4. This was adjourned to Norwich Crown Court on August 1 and Liffen is remanded in custody.
