Two men have been charged after police discovered more than 500 cannabis plants in a property just metres away from Great Yarmouth police station.
Police carried out a warrant at an address in George Street, near Broad Row, at 5.34am on Friday, June 30 where they discovered the plants growing at adjoining properties.
Two men in their 20s were arrested and taken to Great Yarmouth Police Investigation Centre for questioning.
Silvio Saku, 22, and Elian Thana, 26, of George Street, have subsequently been charged with the production of a controlled drug and possession with intent to supply.
Both men appeared at Norwich Magistrates Court on Saturday and have been remanded in custody to appear at Norwich Crown Court on July 27.

On Friday morning, police and forensic services were inside the properties on George Street less than 350m away from Great Yarmouth Police Station.
At around 9.50am that morning, a worker with UK Power Network also arrived at the scene.
There was no cordon in place while officers investigated the premises.
