County lines drug dealers and dangerous drivers are among those jailed in Norfolk in June 2023.

Achilles Lawrence Gate’te

Achilles Lawrence Gate’te, 19 and of Cunningham Road in Norwich, was sentenced to seven and half years for his ultra-violent rampage through city clubland. 

His victim suffered injuries so severe he had to have part of his skull removed to save his life.

Michael Maylen

Michael Maylen, 20 and of Music House Lane in Norwich, was sentenced to eight years for stamping on a man's head and genitals.

His victim received 50 blows and suffered a fractured skull, jaw and eye sockets.

Ben Houghton and Kyle Meades

Ben Houghton, 22, was running his own drugs operation based in Kessingland, a small seaside village near Lowestoft. 

Houghton, of no fixed abode, was jailed for 10 years five months after admitting to supplying cannabis and more than 26kg of cocaine.

Kyle Meades, 22, of Marham Road, Lowestoft, who was involved in a lesser role in the Kessingland operation, was sentenced to six years and nine months.

Samantha Brown

Samantha Brown, of Lime Tree Lane in Long Stratton, was jailed for 12 weeks for assaulting an emergency worker.

She beat a paramedic, repeatedly punching her in the head and pulling her hair.

Arjan Kola

Arjan Kola, 32 and from Bristol, was jailed for five years and three months for being involved in handling 5kg of cocaine and was found with more than £107,000.

He pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of Class A and B drugs, money laundering and refusing to give a phone PIN number to police. 

Oskar Paget

Oskar Paget, 22, was jailed for 18 weeks for assaulting a group of women after one of them rejected him.

He punched and slapped them as well as threw items in a sustained violent attack.

Mercede Silsbury and Michael Ndoro

Mercede Silsbury, 26, and Michael Ndoro, 29, both of Haverhill in Suffolk, were jailed for three years and two months and four years and four months respectively for running a county lines operation.

The couple sold tens of thousands of pounds worth of crack cocaine and heroin.

Aurelijus Cielevicius

Aurelijus Cielevicius, 39 and of John Street in King’s Lynn, was sentenced to 10 and a half years in prison for killing three people in a head-on crash after taking a cocktail of drugs.

He was driving 96mph when the crash happened and Methylamphetamine, Mephedrone and Cannabis were found in his system.

Paul Gilbert

Paul Gilbert, 35 and of York Road in Great Yarmouth, was jailed for five years after targeting 17 homes and stealing valuables worth thousands of pounds.

During one theft a sleeping elderly woman awoke to see a man dressed in black creeping past her and discovered irreplaceable valuables stolen.

Artur Januskiewicz

Januskiewicz, of Verbena Road in Cringleford, was jailed for 14 years and five months after admitting to being concerned in the supply of Class A and B drugs.

He was involved in supplying more than 26kg of cocaine and headed up an "operation of the most serious and commercial scale".

Edward Dygus and Sigitas Ablonskis

Edward Dygus, 44 and of Redpoll Road, Costessey, was jailed for nine years after admitting offences involving cannabis and more than nine kilos of cocaine.

Sigitas Ablonskis, 29 and of Scott Road, Norwich, was jailed for 11 years and three months for supplying more than 17kg of cocaine over four months and was found with £125,000 in cash.

Dygus and Ablonskis were described as Januskiewicz's "first lieutenants".

Tommy Asahri

Tommy Azahri, 27 and of Nursery Close in Norwich, was sentenced to two years after admitting the supply of cannabis and money laundering.

Alban Bafti

Alan Bafti, 30, was jailed for 32 months for the production of cannabis and possession with intent to supply.

Police found £200,000 worth of cannabis at his home and in his car as well as £2,000 cash.

Ross Warner

Ross Warner, 31 and of no fixed address, was sentenced to eight weeks in prison for theft from multiple cars.

He was also ordered to pay compensation of more than £1,500 to one of his victims.

Lucy Hambridge

Lucy Hambridge, of Heath Close in Great Witchingham, was sentenced to 18 months in prison, for assault, criminal damage, and breaches of a criminal behaviour order.

She assaulted someone during an argument, injuring their arm and damaging several of their belongings.
