It was a day which started with steady rain - until the Prince of Wales made a surprise visit to the Royal Norfolk Show and brought the sunshine with him.
Managing director Mark Nicholas said that while it was too early to confirm the exact number of visitors to this year's show, things look promising.
"It will take some time to work out the numbers," he said.
"But that's a good sign.
"It was a magical event with a superb variety of content. From agriculture to other sectors and organisations, it all combines to make this event the Royal Norfolk Show."
Mr Nicholas said his personal highlights included the thanksgiving to 700 hardworking community heroes, the traditional Grand Parade of cattle and Prince William's surprise visit.
"His Royal Highness' visit added more magic to an already brilliant show," Mr Nicholas said.
"It's been a rich cacophony of networking, noise and colour," Mr Nicholas added.
"It's been a riot."
The managing director added that pre-show sales and footfall have been high, which further adds to his confidence of this year's Royal Norfolk Show being a success."
