Get lost and have fun in a maize maze this summer at these events running in Norfolk over the 2023 summer holidays.

1. Summer Mega Maize, Hemsby 

Where: Hirsty's Family Fun Park, Yarmouth Road, Hemsby, NR29 4NL

When: July 22-September 5, 10am-4pm

Price: Adults: £9, children aged 3-16: £12.50, aged 1-2: £7, under 1s: free, wheelchair users: free, book at hirstysfamilyfunpark.co.uk, free parking, dogs allowed on leads 

Explore this giant maize maze where you need to find the clues to the quiz, collecting stickers as you go, to find the way out. 

Other activities include go-karting, a bale mountain and a zip wire, with Hirst's Farm Shop and Café just around the corner.

2. Wizard Maze and Play, Metton

Where: Hall Farm, Cromer Road, Metton, NR11 8QU

When: July 22-September 3, 10am to 5pm (last entry 4pm)

Price: Adults: £9, children £10, under 3s: free, people with disabilities: £8, seniors: £8, pay on the day, free parking, only assistance dogs allowed 

The field of maize is cut to a theme each year and you can challenge your family and friends to see how long it takes to find the exit. 

Tickets include the maze experience, a range of activities, such as jumping pillows and pedal go-karts, the play area and one free ride on the tractor.

3. The Pumpkin House Maize Maze, Thursford

Where: The Pumpkin House, Brookhill Farm, Fakenham Road, Thursford, NR21 0BD

When: July 26-September 3 (Wednesday to Sunday), 10am-4pm

Price: Adults: £6, children (4-16): £4, under 4s free, free parking, dogs allowed on leads 

This six-acre field will be in the shape of a tractor in 2023, with maize growing up to 8ft high in some places.

Everyone is given a map and children who collect all six stamps hidden around the maze can collect a prize.

There will also be welly wanging, a tin can alley, tractor tyre sandpits, a hay bale tower and for under 5s the gator tractor circuit, with refreshments available too.

4. Maize Maze at the Summer of Fun, Wroxham

Where: Wroxham Barns, Tunstead Road, Hoveton, NR12 8QU

When: July 22-September 5, 10am-5pm

Price: £14.99, under 2s: free, summer of fun pass for unlimited visits (launching soon): £25, wroxhambarns.co.uk, free parking, dogs allowed on leads everywhere except the farm 

The Summer of Fun is coming to Wroxham Barns, which will include its popular maize maze and foam parties.

New additions for 2023 include the Creation Station, where children can do slime making, sand art, painting and join in the teddy factory, and the Discovery Zone on Junior Farm with a musical tree.
