A new mock hospital wing has opened on the campus of a college in Norwich - complete with an uncannily life-like patient simulator.
City College Norwich has officially launched its 'health wing' in its Ipswich Road campus.
The new facility, which was funding with £180,000 from the Department for Education, has been designed to replicate a hospital environment for people studying its healthcare courses.
It has been kitted out with several hi-tech gadgets to support students, including a geriatric patient simulator, 3D anatomy visualisation tools and monitors.
Briana Nichols, who is studying a t-level in healthcare support said: "The health wing is really good, it's like a mock hospital room and that's been really helpful for seeing what it would be like."
Tom Williamson, head of health, social care and childcare at City College, said: "Our current students have been so excited when using these facilities.
"From the moment they wear their scrubs in preparation for a lesson, they bring a sense of professionalism and value every session they have."
It comes after the rapidly-expanded college was granted more than £4m of funding to expand its construction courts.
