Wallets, a prescription card and hair extensions were among the items stolen during a spate of thefts from vehicles.

Police investigations are under way in connection with the thefts after three vehicles were targeted during early morning and overnight incidents in Lowestoft.

Officers are reminding locals to remove belongings from their vehicles and to always ensure the vehicles are locked following thefts from vehicles in the town this week.

It comes after wallets were stolen, with attempts made to use bank cards following the thefts.

A jacket, a prescription card and hair extensions were stolen after "two unknown suspects entered and searched a vehicle" parked on Hardy Close, Lowestoft around 3.37am on Tuesday, June 20.

Police said that "an unknown person" also entered an unlocked vehicle and stole a wallet with "bank cards used fraudulently" after the vehicle parked on London Road South, Kirkley had been targeted between 7.30am and 8.15am on Tuesday, June 20.

A wallet was also stolen from a vehicle parked on Selby Street in Lowestoft overnight on Tuesday and Wednesday, June 20/21, with an attempt subsequently made to use a bank card.
