A former police officer will stand trial next week accused of rape and assault.
Jason Corley, 42, who had been based at Sizewell in Suffolk working for the Civil Nuclear Constabulary, has been charged with four offences, including rape and two of causing actual bodily harm (ABH).
Corley, of Oaklands, Framingham Earl, near Poringland, has denied the offences which are said to have happened between August 2020 and February 2021.
He appeared at Norwich Crown Court on Thursday (June 22) for a pre-trial review which heard the case was ready to be heard on Monday (June 26).
Judge Andrew Shaw will try the case and told the defendant to return to court on Monday for his trial.
