A mythical sea creature, an interstellar gunfighter and a dragon will form a trio of unlikely attractions at this year's Norfolk Show.
Mr Darge, from Hockering, will put the three wooden sculptures on display at the June 28-29 event, including an eight-foot statue of the Star Wars character Din Djarin, the title character from the Disney+ hit, The Mandalorian.
There is also an 11.5ft tall dragon, which has been located outside Norski Noo's Gallery and Cafe in Dereham.
The third sculpture is an 11ft long garden bar with a Kraken carved into it - its tentacles taking the place of cup holders.
Mr Darge has not been paid for the Mandalorian and Kraken sculptures - he saw them as ways to showcase the range of his ability, rather than the traditional owls and hares he is best known for.
Mr Darge said: “This has all been about proving I’m not a one-trick pony.
"I’m always asked to do owls, hares, eagles and a lot of wildlife which I don’t mind, I know I can do more, but never get commissioned to do so."
“It's a calculated risk but needed to be done, really to give that wow factor.
"I want to do different things, not the same old stuff that I usually do.
“I’m feeling nervously excited, and slightly stressed as well, I’m almost out of cash and time so if the show doesn’t go well we'll have to work extremely hard but it will be fun.”
The Kraken came about last year when he was talking with his business partner about an idea for a new piece, and the pair were sharing a glass of Kraken Rum.
The Mandalorian came about due to his love for the television show, and a wish to do something completely out of his "traditional wheelhouse".
