A Norfolk fish and chip shop has been included in a list of the best in the country, with its adventurous twists on the classic dish making it stand out from the competition.
Run by Michelin-starred chef Galton Blackiston along with partners Spencer Gray and Tracy Blackiston, No1 Cromer offers a "posh version of a seafront fish and chip shop" according to BBC Good Food writer Andy Lynes.
Its innovative food creations are showcased in the upstairs restaurant, which offers king prawn Goan curry and sides such as soy and ginger-marinated whitebait with aioli dip.

The fish and chip shop also won the Good Food Awards 2023 and Mr Blackiston attributed its success to the "hardworking team and talented head chef Matty Adcock".
Dan Apps, office manager said: "Matty produces some stunning seasonal dishes. He is very forward-thinking with his food and it lifted us to the next level."
Other restaurants on the list were Aldeburgh Fish and Chip Shop, for its chips "fried in beef drippings - done the same way since it opened in 1976".
