From lunchtime, gourmet burgers and handmade pizzas are on offer - with the option to order straight from your spot on the beach via the Whitewater app.

The café also has an alcohol licence so visitors can enjoy a glass of something cold in the summer sun while sitting on the prom and looking out to sea.

2. Rocky Bottoms

Where: Cromer Road, West Runton, NR27 9QA

Eastern Daily Press:

Found between East Runton and West Runton, Rocky Bottoms is famed for its seafood dishes but also has multiple choices for vegan and vegetarian diners.

Husband-and-wife team Ali and Richard Matthews, a local fishing family, took on the "simple shellfish canteen" in north Norfolk in 2008.

Mr Matthews, who has been fishing for 46 years, catches all the crab and lobster off the coast of Weybourne with his son Winston, before it is served up just hours later.

The outside area is partly covered by an open-sided tent and you can enjoy dishes on the lawn, a stone's throw from the beach.

3. The White Horse

Where: Main Road, Brancaster Staithe, PE31 8BY

Eastern Daily Press:

Seafood lovers can enjoy panoramic views of the marshland coastline while tucking into the catch of the day.

There is a marquee and lots of umbrellas for plenty of shade on the attractive decking and lawn.
