Enjoy a range of tipples onboard a steam-hauled train as a popular themed event returns to a heritage railway.

The Gin Train will run along the North Norfolk Railway on selected Saturday evenings this summer and passengers will sit in first-class dining cars.

The train will make two leisurely return journeys from Sheringham to Holt.

Passengers will be able to sip five local gins on the trip, which come from Sheringham’s North 42, Cromer's Poppyland Brewery, which produces East Coast Dry Gin, Fakenham's Black Shuck Distillery and Home Farm in Hethersett.

The gins will be served with a mixer from The Artisan Drinks Company based in King's Lynn.

The drinks will be accompanied by a mezze board of antipasti and cheeses and a gin-infused cheesecake.

Hannah Drury, assistant commercial manager, said: "We have brought together five distinctive but contrasting gins from some of Norfolk’s finest producers.

“We are delighted that some of the producers are joining us this year to meet passengers and answer questions."
