An air ambulance has taken an injured person to hospital after a serious crash in west Norfolk.
Multiple injuries have been reported following the collision on the A1122 Downham Road at the junction with Willow Heath Road in Crimplesham.
A car and a van are involved and the road was shut for a number of hours after the incident that happened just before 4pm.
The East Anglian Air Ambulance airlifted one person to Addenbrooke's Hospital while another was taken by road to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King's Lynn.
A Norfolk Police spokeswoman urged motorists to avoid the area.
Multiple ambulance and fire crews were sent to the scene.
Norfolk Fire Service teams from Downham Market, King's Lynn North, King's Lynn South and Wisbech attended the crash.
Hydraulic rescue equipment has been used to cut people free from the vehicles.
It caused a build-up of traffic in the area.
The road has since reopened as of 9pm.
