Management at a community radio station for the East Suffolk area have expressed excitement with the unveiling of a new studio.
East Suffolk One has opened its first radio studio on an historic high street in Lowestoft.
Admitting they were "thrilled" to announce the online local radio station is opening "its first content hub in the heart of Lowestoft", the new studio will be based on the town's High Street.
The volunteer team at East Suffolk One has thanked the support of Lowestoft Town Council, who provided them with funding for the new content hub.
Station manager John Hammond said: "Providing a place to record local content will increase East Suffolk One’s connection with the dozens of local groups and charities the station is already working with.
"The hub will offer a space to record interviews and podcasts with local groups, connect with our community and provide a platform for local people to learn about the exciting world of radio."
Recordings made in the hub will be heard on East Suffolk One - an online radio station that mixes music from the 80s to today, with local news, weather and community focused content.
