A blossoming pick-your-own bouquet business is back for its second summer season with new additions for 2023.
The Old Buckenham Gardening Retreat has just reopened at Old Buckenham Country Park, near Attleborough, and it is located on the hill opposite the café, which overlooks the lake.
The garden is run by mother-and-daughter duo Claire Hornby, 56, and Jessica Ward, 28, and there are 40 varieties of flowers, including Sweet Williams and Foxgloves.
Miss Ward said: "I grew up next door to my grandad who had a big greenhouse and plant nursery - when they passed away in 2020 my mum's mental health suffered and gardening was what made her feel better.

"We were not the only ones feeling down after Covid, so we opened the garden as a way for other people to feel happiness through flowers and it has been a real success."
Everyone is welcome to enter for free, with dogs allowed on leads, and customers can choose from three sizes of buckets to fill, which are £5 for children, £9 for medium and £15 for large, with cutters provided.

This is then wrapped by Miss Ward's daughter Matilda, 7, in the new shed shop, which also stocks local honey and vegetable plants.
Another new addition for 2023 is wedding flowers and brides and grooms can pre-book slots.
Miss Ward added: "It is something a bit different and cheaper for couples, with the chance to use local flowers on their big day.

"We have also now become a Community Interest Company (CIC) so will be holding planting days."
From 2024, they will be moving to a larger site at the country park and are planning more events and hen party experiences.
The garden is open 10am to 2pm Wednesdays and Sundays and it is cash only.
