An afternoon of free food, fun activities and information for families in Great Yarmouth is taking place at the York Road Drill House this Saturday.
From 12.30pm, Out There Arts is hosting a three-hour bonanza edition of its weekly Family Saturday event.
There will be fun activities to get stuck in with, as well as information stations offering residents and families advice on childcare, wellbeing, employment and training.
Activities include an ice cream sandwich creation station, a free raffle and bingo games with brilliant family day-out prizes donated by local attractions, including Thrigby Wildlife Park and the Pleasure Beach.
Norfolk County Council Community Focus Team will be offering advice on local community support available in and around Great Yarmouth. Other organisations present include The Early Childhood and Family Service, Norfolk Family Information Service, Seetec Pluss, DWP (Job Centre Plus), St Mary Magdalen, Adult Learning, Gorleston PCN, Chances Project (Voluntary Norfolk), and Norfolk Libraries.
This Family Saturday will be extended to 3 hours, 12:30 – 3:30pm. Walk-ins are welcome, but online bookings are recommended.
