Plans for six new homes have been given the go-ahead - despite fears they will be built on a dangerous bend.
Elm United Charities has been given outline permission to develop land off Well End, Friday Bridge, near Wisbech.
Fenland council gave the go-ahead despite objections from Elm Parish Council.
"Access to the proposed development site is located on a notoriously hazardous bend," the parish said.
"Vehicles regularly travel at speeds in excess of the 30mph speed limit and the route is a main thoroughfare for large agricultural machinery."
It added Friday Bridge School is over-subscribed.

Twenty-two letters of objection were also received, raising concerns including over-development.
A planning officer's report said the design had been changed, with drives set back from the highway.
It added: "The highway authority has confirmed these changes are acceptable and has no other objections to the scheme."
Detailed plans must now be approved before work can begin.
