Five Norfolk beaches have been named among the best in the UK by a top travel magazine.
Conde Nast Traveller has chosen Holkham, Hunstanton, Brancaster, Cromer and Sheringham among the best beaches in the country for 2023.
The publication featured Holkham Beach at number nine on the list, for being "protected and wonderfully unspoiled" as part of the Holkham estate and nature reserve. They recommended Holkham Hall for its "smart bedrooms and restaurants serving local, seasonal produce."

Another of Norfolk's best beaches is Brancaster, which offers "lower-key loveliness" with "miles of golden sand and no need to jostle for sandcastle space".
The spot in north Norfolk was also voted one of the best dog-friendly beaches in the UK and included in a list of the UK's top 20 beaches by the Telegraph in May.
Hunstanton was included for its "quaint little teashops, a candy-striped helter-skelter and pony rides along the promenade". Old Hunstanton was also mentioned for its "lower-key, rugged charm."
Cromer and Sheringham were also included in the list.
