Enough candidates have stood to make three parishes which were facing an election re-run quorate without needing a fresh vote.
They include second homes hotspot Burnham Overy Staithe, near Wells, where just two people stood at the May 4 elections, leaving five of its seven seats vacant.

Just one person stood in Northwold, near Downham Market, on May 4, leaving eight of its nine seats vacant.
And no-one stood in Houghton, near King's Lynn, leaving all five seats vacant.
West Norfolk council has now received two further nominations for Burnham Overy, who will become elected unopposed. They are Luke Douglas-Home and Simon Raven.
In Northwold George Gillett, Mavis Gillett, Ailene MacMullen, Tim MacMullen, Nigel Nickles, Sheena Randell, Anne Sherman and Susan Smith will be elected unopposed.
And in Houghton Mark Ellis, Jane Fleming, Edward Getley and Stephen Hill will be elected unopposed.
The borough council, which oversees parish elections, said: "The elections team did not receive enough nominations to hold an election, but all three parishes are now quorate."
