A retired carpenter from Norfolk died after contracting coronavirus, an inquest has heard.
Kenneth Bargewell, of Camping Field Lane, Stalham, died at the Norfolk and Norwich hospital last year on Monday, October 24.
A postmortem examination revealed that the 72-year-old's medical cause of death was diffuse alveolar damage – a type of lung tissue injury – with a Covid-19 infection due to or because of asbestos-related fibrosis.

The inquest was opened by the senior coroner for Norfolk, Jacqueline Lake, at the Norfolk Coroner’s Court at County Hall, Norwich, on Thursday, May 25.
The court heard that Kenneth Sidney Bargewell was born in Sea Palling, on July 23, 1950. He worked as a carpenter and a joiner.
The official cause of his death will be determined by the coroner at the full inquest which is due to place at the court on Friday, June 2.
