A seaside hotel looks set to be converted into flats despite opposition.
West Norfolk council has agreed proposals from Positive Residences Ltd to convert Richmond House on Westgate, in Hunstanton, into 13 apartments.
The decision came despite eight objections, on grounds including parking issues.
Shaun Burrell, who owns Owens DIY on Chapel lane, behind Westgate, said it would be detrimental to his business because residents would park on Chapel Lane.

"I already have a few suppliers who now refuse to deliver to my business due to access problems caused by parked cars or refuse bins just left out in the lane before and after collection," he said.
Borough councillor for Hunstanton Paul Beal said the development was "nothing but overdevelopment in such an overcrowded area".
Mike Ruston, who supported the plans said: "There is little difference between a hotel with no parking and flats with no parking."
A planning officer's report said Hunstanton Town Council supported the move. It added the existing hotel has no parking on-site.
The application was given the go-ahead under delegated powers.
