Is this the ultimate surf and turf?
Upstairs at No.1 Cromer - the upmarket chippy owned by celebrity chef Galton Blackiston - is launching a prestige dish featuring half a lobster and 10oz of sirloin steak.
But with a price tag of £60 and sides including king prawns, mushrooms and ‘jenga’ chips, this might be one to share with a friend rather than attempting to finish by yourself.
Matty Adcock, head chef, said he was looking forward to seeing how the dish goes down.
Mr Adcock said: “It’s going to be a very filling sharing board. We aim to please and make sure people are fed well at a decent cost.”
Mr Adcock, 30, has been at No.1 for 15 months, and said he wanted to create a dish combining his previous expertise in cooking meat with his new-found seafood skills.

He said: “We’re trying to keep it as local as possible - the Norfolk leaf salad is from Blakeney, the sirloin is from HV Graves Butchers in Briston and the lobster is from Davies Fish Shop in Cromer.”
Spencer Gray, one of No.1’s directors, said the surf and turf was one of a series of dishes Mr Adcock was creating to mark the restaurant’s 10th anniversary.
It can initially only be ordered by booking ahead.
