Three homes could be built in the grounds of a 200-year-old country lodge.
Developer Clayland Estates has put forward plans to build a set of homes next to the Grade II listed Attleborough Lodge, on the edge of Attleborough.
The property sits on a 1.16-acre site on Ellingham Road and was built in 1840.
A planning statement to Breckland Council said the homes will be “luxury” in style, developed in a “sustainable manner”.

They also insist the scheme will not cause any detrimental impact on the “quality of the area” or the “visual amenity” of the historic lodge.
The statement said: “The proposed development of the site makes the best possible use of what has become a disused and forgotten site which in recent years has been reclaimed by nature.
“Our intention was to establish a proposal which works for our client and how they will use the space, while being respectful of the existing structures and the site's heritage.”
The application will be decided in due course.
