A much-loved Norfolk and Suffolk bakery chain is on the rise as it launches its ninth café in a coastal hotspot.
Two Magpies Bakery is now open along The Quay in Wells-next-the-Sea and it has a 'mini magpie' concept, the same as the Beccles branch, where it is slightly smaller and more geared towards takeaways.
However, if you do fancy eating inside then there are 16 covers in the Wells café, which were all full on opening day.

On offer is a range of bread loaves, sausage rolls, cakes, tray bakes, filled brioche rolls and croissants and much more.
Customers can also enjoy a range of hot and cold drinks, including coffees, freshly-squeezed orange juice and smoothies.
Two Magpies Bakery was founded by Rebecca Bishop in Southwold in 2013, with Steve Magnall joining the business in 2018.
It now employs more than 170 people and has a thriving bake school in Darsham too.

"We have such great customer loyalty and many people who came on opening day in Wells have been to several sites - they also love the look and feel of the new café."

"I don't see why we couldn't go up to 20 sites and beyond."
