A touring Norfolk farmers' market held its biggest event yet at the weekend and it was a roaring success.

Around 3,000 people flocked to the idyllic Raynham Estate, near Fakenham, on Sunday, May 14 for the first Farmers' and Makers' Market there.

The event was organised by Donna Mackenzie, who launched the business Norfolk Farmers' Market in October 2022, with 25 fairs held in village halls across the county.

Ms Mackenzie said: "It was absolutely amazing and all the traders had a really good day - for some, it was their best day of takings ever.

"I have had a lot of emails already from businesses wanting to return for the next one."

The next Farmers' and Makers' Market at Raynham will be on Sunday, August 13 from 9am until 3pm, with a Christmas edition scheduled in for November 5.

Next May she is also launching craft retreats at Raynham Estate's Wild Meadow Glamping site.
