Villagers are set to be asked whether they want double yellow lines and an area reserved for residents' parking in a coastal community beset by parking problems.
Visitors to Brancaster and Brancaster Staithe soared during the Covid staycation boom, with many clogging up roads and parking on verges around the villages.
Locals formed a safety team to try to ease the gridlock.
Plans for temporary car parks at Cherry Field, west of Brancaster and opposite the AA layby in Brancaster Staithe fell through earlier this year.

Norfolk County Council is set to launch a public consultation over proposed parking restrictions, which include new double yellow lines along parts of the main A149 through both villages and residents-only parking on London Road in Brancaster.
Brancaster Parish Council carried out a parking survey in 2021. It said it was clear most people wanted restrictions.
But of 69 people who took part in a second survey last year, around a third said they did not want double yellow lines.
