New homes have been given the go-ahead on the site of former warehouses.
Wisbech Construction has been given planning permission to build 16 three-bed homes on land off Sandyland in the town.
It said in a planning statement: "The site is previously developed land and located within the built-up area of Wisbech, and as such is a priority site for new development.
"Policy at both local and national levels advocates that brownfield sites in sustainable and accessible location be encouraged as priority sites for sustainable development opportunities to address housing need."

It adds the site is on the edge of Wisbech town centre, close to the town's bus station and supermarkets.
A planning officer's report said outline planning permission had previously been granted for 14 new homes but has since expired.
It concludes: "The redevelopment of this underutilised brownfield site accords with national and local planning policy and will ultimately see an overall uplift in the environmental quality of the area."
